Around five minutes away from Highway 192,Crescent Lakes
is a large housing development around 5 minutes from Poinciana and 15
minutes from the attractions. Beautifully set out into various sub
divisions and dotted with small lakes, this area is a magnet for
wildlife as can be seen in the picture below.
Only a few minutes away from the Disney Wilderness preserve, the Study
wildlife centre and the Boggy Creek airboat rides at Southport, this is
an ideal introduction to the real Florida, while your every day needs
are met by the amazing number of shops, banks and supermarkets that have
sprung up around the Poinciana area at Cyprus Parkway.
If you like fishing or golf there is plenty on offer. Championship
courses and world famous bass fishing on a 22 mile lake are only minutes
away, and with horse riding and the Green Farm petting zoo just around
the bend, your children will love the adventure.
Historic downtown Kissimmee and lake Toho (where the bass fishing
championships take place) is well worth a visit, and throughout the year
there are several free shows for the local community advertised on large
banners as you pass through Kissimmee town, so keep a look out for them
